HANESBRANDS INC. TO HOST LIVE WEBCAST OF ITS NEW YORK INVESTOR DAY MEETING

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (Feb. 11, 2010) – Hanesbrands Inc. (NYSE: HBI) today announced that it will host a live Internet webcast of its New York investor day meeting from 9 a.m. to no later than noon EST Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010.

The live Internet broadcast may be accessed from the home page or the investors section of the Hanesbrands corporate Web site, www.hanesbrands.com.

The meeting will be held at the Jumeirah Essex House in New York City for registered participants. The company will discuss the 2010 business environment and review its business potential, opportunities, strategies and long-term growth goals. Speakers will include Hanesbrands Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Richard A. Noll; Chief Financial Officer E. Lee Wyatt; President of International Business and Global Supply Chain Gerald Evans; and President, Chief Commercial Officer William J. Nictakis.
