WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (November 15, 2006) – Sometimes simple really is best – especially when it comes to holiday dressing. In fact, more American women would rather wow workmates at holiday parties with the simply elegant, always fashionable, little black dress.
That is the finding of a recent national survey of 1,000 women’s holiday fashion favorites commissioned by the Bali® brand. When given a flock of festive frocks and get-ups to chose from – including everything from jeans to a smashing red gown – the little black dress, or LBD, was named the No. 1 item women prefer to wear to holiday parties. And over half of those women reported having special intimate apparel to wear with it. The survey was conducted by global market research firm Synovate.
