W. Howard Upchurch Jr. has been executive vice president, general manager of domestic innerwear for Hanesbrands since January 2008. From July 2006 to January 2008, Upchurch was senior vice president, general manager of the company’s domestic female innerwear. Upchurch was president of Sara Lee Intimate Apparel from August 2004 until June 2006. From October 2003 until July 2004, he was chief customer officer of Sara Lee Branded Apparel. From July 2002 until September 2003, Upchurch was president of Sara Lee Hosiery. He has served in various positions with Hanesbrands since 1987.
